Popping in to see what is new in the store this season, I am greeted with such joy and respect, that I feel like a celebrity at last.
I know that this is the way they treat every customer, but I am still pleased, realizing why I want to keep coming here.
Besides me, in the store was a married couple that were ordering a family gathering centerpiece for their home.
Nancy and Norman are regulars here. Nancy describes to me the gorgeous floral arrangement that Norman brought her for Valentine's Day years ago.
She loved it so much that she wanted to go and see the shop that it was made in. Ever since, she fell in love with the place.
"We get all the flowers here, for Mother's Day, New Year, Birthdays, Get Well, and just to keep fresh flowers at home for ourselves as well"- says Nancy.
"Now I feel safe sending her flowers" - says Norman - "because I know that no matter what occasion or the time I order them, she will receive
something she will love!"
During our conversation, another man by the name Steve comes in to pick up his arrangement. This fresh floral arrangement is a tall and modern one,
made in one of the kind art glass vase.
"I just fell in love with the vase" - Steve says. "So even though I picked up another arrangement that I pre-ordered early at that time, I asked them if
they could keep that vase for me. Not only did they take it off the shelf, but they also made floral arrangement in it, and texted me a photo of it to
see if I liked it. Of course, I showed it to my girlfriend and she loved it. So here I am, 2 weeks later, to pick up my new gorgeous gift!"
I ask Steve how he found out about this shop. "I was looking for a florist along Northwest Hway on my way home from work" - he says - "and other flower shops were already closed. So I called my mom to see if she knew where to buy nice flowers for my girlfriend's Birthday at that point,
and she told me to call My Obsession Florist. It turns out, they were the ones that saved my sister's Wedding Ceremony and Reception a while ago,
when someone else that she hired, failed them. My Mom called this florist on the morning of the Wedding day, and they took her order! Bride's and Bridesmaids' bouquets, big church arrangements, centerpieces, and even fresh petals basket for little flower girl, they had it all ready for us to pick up by 4PM.
My Mom was very pleased, and my sister was ecstatic!", - he says.
